For example, the rabies vaccine we use has been proven to be safe and effective for 3 years.

Digital Radiology: Our new state-of-the-art CR (Computed Radiology) digital x-ray has many benefits of traditional film x-rays.
The main benefit is enhanced picture quality, letting our veterinarians diagnose subtle lesions, sometimes even before a real problem becomes apparent. Digital radiology also reduces the need for retakes, therefore exposing your pet to a much reduced amount of x-ray radiation.
Finally, these digitized images can be emailed, put on disks, and sent to specialists anywhere in the world for further help with difficult cases. Class IV Therapeutic Laser: No pet owner wants to see their furry family member suffer from muscle and joint pain. Have you noticed your pet slowing down, having trouble with simple things like stairs? As your dog ages, the probability of arthritic pain increases greatly (32 % of dogs over 7 have clinical arthritic pain).
Big Rock Animal Clinic has an alternative way to treat joint and muscle pain - Therapeutic Laser Therapy. Either laser alone, or with the addition of anti-arthritis medications/supplements, we can alleviate your pet's muscle and joint pain in a non-invasive manner. Treatments are initially twice weekly, then most pets have good pain relieving results with receiving a laser treatment once or twice monthly. Each treatment typically lasts 20 - 30 minutes.

Anesthesia: We use the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.
Internal medicine consults: We offer in-hospital referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures and helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases.
Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
