Jessica Gavelin
Practice Manager
Jessica was born and raised in southern Alberta, and still calls the Foothills home. She has loved animals since she was a little girl, especially horses. Jessica has grown up with dogs and cats her whole life, and has been horseback riding since she was eight years old. In 2012 she graduated from Olds College with a diploma in Equine Science. Upon graduation she began working as a veterinary receptionist at a small and large animal clinic in Okotoks. Jessica joined the team at Big Rock Animal Clinic in December of 2017. She worked a few years in reception and as a tech assistant, and is now the clinics manager. Jessica plans to continue to learn, grow and share her passion for the industry she loves. On her days off Jessica spends most of her time riding her horses, and enjoying the great outdoors with her husband Sean and husky Tikka.
