Jesica Zaklikowski

Jesica grew up in Victoria, BC where she developed her love for animals and worked in emergency vet hospital for 5 years. Upon graduation from the AHT (animal health tech) program at Old’s College in 2011, she moved to Calgary with her fur-baby Karma (Shepherd cross). She quickly developed a keen interest in dermatology, microscopic cytology, and nutrition. She advanced her experience by working a long side a board-certified dermatologist for 5 years. During this time, she had her son Jaiden and adopted her second fur-baby named Derp (French Bulldog). She continues to develop her skills with small animals at Big Rock where she has been since 2016. Now with her third and fourth fur babies Rosie (Border Collie) and Jackson the cat, she lives with her partner Ryan and their 3 combined kids. Together with her family Jesica loves to spend her time singing and making music. Currently Jesica is working on her Veterinary technology specialty (VTS) in dermatology in hopes of writing her examination in 2023.
